CASE STUDY (METADATA)

We were tasked with launching a brand new puzzle game on the Apple App Store. Utilizing all the available metadata, events, tools, and feature opportunities offered by the App Store it debuted as the #3 Puzzle app in the US (just above Cut the Rope and Plants v Zombies). Within a month we were featured by Apple in their Top 15 sections, and included on a list of CNets Top 20 Games.

CASE STUDY (AB TESTING)

Showing up in a search result is great, but it doesn't matter unless you get downloaded! We had an app with huge amounts of impressions (so it was showing up in search results) but had terrible download conversion. By experimenting with various screenshots and videos, we were able to communicate the apps value in a more effective way and drove downloads up 28%.

CASE STUDY (RATINGS)

Ever heard of a DPR ratio? It's one of the many ways Apple and Google rank your app in search results. By analyzing the user flow we managed to achieve a DPR of 10. The result? Monetization Strategy

It's a constant iterative process, and even the small tweaks can result in bigger gains than you realize.

Sometimes it's subscription, sometimes it's consumables, sometimes it's one-off, and sometimes it's advertising. We took an app portfolio and analyzed its customer base, and after changing the monetization strategy the company report 3x revenue within a year. CASE STUDY (PRICING)

Price elasticity is a real thing, not just some theory they teach in classrooms. You could be undervaluing your product, which not only results in lower revenue but also creates a negative impression of your app to users. We performed a pricing experiment for a children's education app and after finding the perfect price-point not only were we making more per user, but MORE users signed up! Apparently the price was so low it created a sense of "cheapness" in the app. By adjusting the price it created a more premium feel, and the result was a 60% increase in revenue.
